A man has died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash after the car he was driving left the road and collided with a tree south of Brisbane in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A man has died and another has been hospitalised following a single-vehicle crash near Logan overnight.
A 47-year-old Beenleigh man died after the vehicle he was driving left the road and collided with a tree in Waterford West about 2am.
The man sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, a 42-year-old Beenleigh man, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Emergency services responded to the incident at Beutel Street, Waterford West after reports of the crash.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations have commenced and witnesses are being asked to contact Police.
