A multi-vehicle crash involving several trucks has caused milk to spill all over the road and block a highway west of Brisbane this morning.

A multi-vehicle crash involving several trucks has caused milk to spill all over the road and block a highway west of Brisbane this morning.

The two-truck crash happened on the Gore Hwy, Southbrook, just after 5.15am.

It is understood an interstate semi-trailer carrying caravans sideswiped a Toowoomba-based milk truck after one of the vehicles crossed double white lines.

The milk truck was en route to Pittsworth with its morning delivery.

“IUT has definitely left a mess,” one witness said.

According to a QFD spokesman, the crash has partially blocked one lane of the road, resulting in the highway being closed in both directions.

The highway is expected to be closed for several hours while emergency services make the scene safe.

There are no reports of injuries.
