Elderly man fights for life after horror ride-on mower crash
A man aged in his 80s is in a critical condition after he crashed a ride-on mower 4m down and embankment on the Gold Coast on Friday afternoon.

An elderly man has been rushed to hospital after a horror ride-on mower crash on the Gold Coast.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 80s, suffered significant head and chest injuries after plummeting about 4m over an embankment on a property on Currumbin Creek Rd in the Currumbin Valley just before 2.30pm on Friday.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
