Driver airlifted in serious condition after head-on collision at Logan

A man has been airlifted to hospital after spending being trapped in the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash at Logan.

A man has been airlifted to hospital after spending being trapped in the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash at Logan.

The two cars with single occupants collided head-on at the intersection of Irwin Rd and Arthy Drive, Cedar Grove, just before 5pm on Wednesday.

A 25-year-old man was freed from his vehicle about 6.30pm and airlifted to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital sometime after 7pm with life-threatening injuries.

It is understood he was trapped by the legs and also had a head injury.

A 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his right arm, right leg, abdomen, neck, chest and head.

He was taken to Logan Hospital in a serious condition.
