A 38-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle accident on a rural outback property in Richmond, between Hughenden and Julia Creek.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the private property about 1pm on Wednesday, where they treated a man for life-threatening injuries after a ATV buggy rolled at the property.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed on Thursday morning that the man died at the scene.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

This latest buggy death comes just a month after Malanda man Jacob Francis Ingles, 25, died after the ATV buggy he was passenger on, rolled north of Townsville at Toolakea beach.
