A controversial former pathology services group chief executive sentenced over corporate misinformation is selling his $8.5-$9.5m Portsea pad.
In 2008, Wallace Cameron was sentenced to pay a $16,000 fine and $4000 in costs after pleading guilty to using his position at the publicly listed Gribbles Group to gain personal advantage, and for supplying misleading statements in directors’ reports, among other charges.
Cameron had failed to disclose a more than 40 per cent stake in Gribbles held by an offshore company was controlled by his children.

The businessman also made more positive headlines in 2014 with the $18m sale of his Brighton home, a then record for the suburb and one of the highest prices outside of Toorak.
Cameron is named on title documents for the opulent 198 Franklin Road, Portsea, pad designed by architect Robert Robertson.
It has seven bedrooms, a lift connecting its two levels, an unusual white stone fireplace and extensive space.
JP Dixon managing director Jonathan Dixon said the home’s spacious office adjoined a huge “library that could be the Sorrento Library”.
“It’s a unique home on an acre and a half (0.6ha) with the backbeach right over its backyard,” Mr Dixon said.
“And the home is massive.”
The 6070sq m property also features a striking pool with a nearby cabana, manicured gardens, a seven-car garage and space for more than 20 guests to park.
Mr Dixon declined to comment on the home’s owner.
Better known for his dealings in Brighton, the respected realtor is relaunching a Portsea office after an about five-year absence from the region.
He said the move followed ongoing requests from Bayside locals looking to buy and sell holiday homes on the Mornington Peninsula.
