A crime scene has been declared after a suspicious blaze tore through a shed on the Gold Coast.

Fire crews and police were called to a business on Millaroo Drive in Helensvale about 2.30am on Friday.

A Gold Coast police spokesman said a crime scene was declared and “investigations are ongoing”.

“No injuries were reported,” he said.

The Queensland Fire Department confirmed the shed fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes.

Millaroo Drive is an industrial area and home to many businesses.
