Police have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist them with their investigations into an alleged truck theft in a central Gold Coast suburb.

Officers say initial investigations indicate that between 12pm and 5pm on June 11, unknown offenders allegedly stole a Foton Aumark light-duty truck from a Clear Island Waters property.

At the time of the incident, the vehicle was bearing Queensland registration 101ZHP.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the man or vehicle to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
