POLICE are hunting a man who has been at large for nearly four days after escaping custody in central Melbourne on Friday.
Leigh Gavin Snell has been at large in Melbourne after escaping police custody while handcuffed.
Snell, 28, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft last Friday but got away in Melbourne's CBD.
There was a suspected sighting of a Snell in cuffs at Brighton later that day but investigators believe he would have had cut them off by now.
Snell is 175cm tall, of medium build with blonde hair and a fair complexion.
