Victoria’s economy is booming because of the Allan Labor government’s investment in vital infrastructure and services – delivering a strong economy and a better future.
Victoria’s economy grew by more than 9 per cent over the past two years, stronger than NSW, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania.
The government’s jobs plan is working.
Unemployment fell to 4.4 per cent in September and the state has added more than 100,000 businesses since June 2020 – a rise of almost 17 per cent – the largest percentage growth of any state.
Labor has a plan and now, for the first time since 2017, net debt to GDP is forecast to fall.
