No, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are not an item.
Their onscreen chemistry has not crossed over into real life.
At the Oscars they gazed, held hands and paraded their sexual chemistry for us to feast on.
But they didn’t nearly make out. They didn’t get lost in the moment and nearly start pashing.

There was no K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
They delivering a brilliant performance, you see. They’re actors. They were acting. They’d rehearsed it all, just like a scene in a movie.
Even Cooper’s partner, model Irina Shayk, thought it was great. She was the first to jump to her feet, leading a standing ovation for the pair after they sang their Oscar-winning song Shallow.
Shayk is not the pitiful third wheel she’s being made out to be. She’s been with Cooper for four years and the pair have a daughter together.
The only person Cooper kissed was Shayk after he and Gaga returned to their seats. And then Gaga and Shayk hugged each other.
This is why it was disrespectful for David Spade — actor and professional s--- stirrer — to post a screen shot and wonder: “Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f---ing?”
Cooper’s ex Jennifer Esposito jumped on board, commenting: “Ha”.

And yet for days now, social media has debated endlessly about how Cooper and Gaga must secretly be in love and that their Oscars duet proved it.
It’s ridiculous. They’re both well-known stars well able to draw the line between real life and onscreen chemistry. They’re not in love; they’re playing well-rehearsed roles.
Gaga may have just split from fiance Christian Carino last month, but she’s clearly had enough.
She posted on Instagram that “nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius”.
They’re all friends, people. Nothing to see here.
