Labor governments have delivered for Victorian students, parents and teachers, with 100 new schools set to open by 2026.

The Allan Labor government has delivered an additional $35 billion to invest in students, teachers and schools, delivering 100 new schools by 2026 and have opened 75 schools since 2019.
They have invested more than $16.9 billion to build new schools and deliver more than 2,200 school upgrades, supporting more than 26,000 jobs in construction and associated industries.
The investment in school infrastructure has created an additional 89,000 places for Victorian students.
Victoria currently has the best primary school NAPLAN results in the country and have introduced explicit teaching and phonics into every classroom.
There is cost of living relief for busy families with the $400 school saving bonus, free school breakfasts, camps, sports and excursions fund, the glasses for kids program and they were the first state or territory in Australia to introduce free pads and tampons in government schools
