Gender card lie exposes truth about fake independent

Zoe Daniel is either outrageously dishonest or she struggles with the meaning of words.

How else does one explain Simon Holmes a Court’s Climate 200 candidate for Goldstein playing the gender card on Channel 9’s Weekend Today program on Saturday morning.

Ms Daniel claimed that former prime minister John Howard had used “gendered language” in his criticism of the teal candidates last month.

“I would say or suggest gently that gendered language like ‘anti-liberal groupies’ is inappropriate in the democratic process,” Ms Daniel said.

“I seek to represent my community, put myself forward as an alternative for people who want politics done differently.”

Politics done differently?

Goldstein independent candidate Zoe Daniel claims the term ‘groupies’ is ‘gendered language’.

I think we’re pretty used to politicians lying to us but perhaps not in such a bald-faced fashion as the teal candidates who are maintaining the outrageous lie that they have no idea which side they’ll back despite their candidates obvious Leftist to far Left political leanings.

Ms Daniel’s accusation that Mr Howard had engaged in gendered language is revealed as verifiably false by looking at his full quote.

This is what Mr Howard actually said: “These men and women are all posing as independents, they’re not independents, they’re anti-Liberal groupies”.

“Their aim is to hurt the Liberal Party, not to represent the middle ground of the electorate.”

Note the words “these men and women”.

If Ms Daniel identifies as a ‘groupie’ or sees the word groupie as quintessentially female, that’s on her.

It’s certainly not something Mr Howard said or implied.

Misrepresenting what was said in such a blatant manner is on brand for the fake independents who are to the Left of the Labor Party but pretend to be small L Liberal alternatives.

The former ABC journalist has a history of engaging in hyperbole and political posturing including claiming the only true democracy in the Middle East is running an “apartheid regime”.

Ms Daniel signed a controversial letter last year that accused Israel and Israelis of all sorts of human rights horrors but she has nothing to say about the hideous mistreatment of women, religious minorities and the LGBT community in Palestinian controlled territories never mind the terror attacks.

But then you’re a fool if you expect consistency, honesty or rationality from the teals.
