Black widow stripper Robyn Lindholm tried to have the Hells Angels bash her boyfriend months before she killed him.
Former leading Angel Chris Coelho – known as Ball Bearing – was approached by Lindholm to have Wayne Amey assaulted, though police believe the real request may have been for the bikie to murder him.
Former homicide squad detective Ron Iddles said Coelho knew Amey and told him about Lindholm’s request.
Amey, whom Lindholm nicknamed “Batman’’ because she was Robyn, would later visit a suburban police station and, while he did not want an investigation, told them what he knew in case something happened to him.
The approach to Coelho came in August, 2013.
Amey was fatally bashed four months later in the basement of his Hawthorn apartment block by Torsten Trabert and John Ryan, who were acting on Lindholm’s instructions.
His body was found wedged between rocks at Mount Korong in central Victoria a week later.
Coelho later broke the habit of a lifetime and gave Iddles a statement saying he had been asked to have Amey beaten.
“But I think it might have been to have him knocked (murdered),” Mr Iddles said.
Mr Iddles said in his new Channel 7 series last Sunday night that Ms Lindholm was the worst killer he had ever worked on.
The femme fatale had long-links to the Hells Angels and was known to call Coelho “uncle’’.
The Sunday Herald Sun asked Coelho about his relationship with Lindholm following Amey’s murder but he did not want it known he had made a statement to police.
Although he had “retired’’ from the Hells Angels in 2012, the perception of making a statement concerned him.
About the time he was approached by Lindholm to attack Amey, Coelho had helped Lindholm choose a Harley Davidson Amey had agreed to buy her.
The veteran Hells Angel ended up buying the motorcycle from Lindholm as her life spiralled out of control.
Despite the number plate reading “ROBN’’, Coelho gifted it to his fiance.
They then celebrated their marriage with a motorcyclng trip across Australia.
Coelho died in a car accident in 2018.
But Coelho wasn’t the only man Lindholm attempted to recruit before convincing Trabert and Ryan to kill for her.
A former boyfriend testified that Lindholm had convinced him to murder Amey for her.
Aaron Ardley began a relationship with her in 2012 and discussed killing Amey.
“I was in training to actually do it. I started doing a lot of weightlifting, fitness work, eating healthy, to mentally have the, you know, the balls to do it, so to speak,’’ he said.
They even had sex outside Mr Amey’s Hawthorn penthouse near train lines so that she could haunt him, he said.
Mr Ardley’s murder plan was abandoned after he suffered a brain injury on New Year’s Day in 2013.
It was also speculated Lindholm had been involved with gangster Alphonse Gangitano in the years before his death in 1998.
A friend of Amey’s told the Herald Sun the gym owner believed Linholm had had a child to Gangitano, but the child was raised by another family.
Trabert, meanwhile, continued his infatuation with Lindholm while they were both in jail, penning sexually explicit letters to her.
“I’m wondering what your answer was from the first letter I sent you,’’ he wrote.
“I am praying every night to god that your answer was yes cause you make my life forfilled (sic) we are so good together I can’t think of my life without you.’’
Since being convicted of masterminding the murder of Amey, she was in 2019 found guilty of killing her former fiance, George Templeton.
Templeton, also known as George Teazis, went missing in 2005.
Lindholm began an affair with Amey while Templeton was in prison in 2003. She has tried to blame Teazis’ murder on Amey.
Police also believe Amey was convinced by Lindholm to murder Templeton.
A court heard Lindholm had told former lover Mr Ardley in 2013 that she had organised people to kill Templeton, who were known in underworld circles.
“She said they got him at the house and put him on a boat. They dismembered him and threw him into the water,’’ prosecutor Ray Gibson QC said.
It was also alleged Lindholm divulged to a cellmate in 2015 that Templeton “got what he deserved and I enjoyed every f … ing minute of it.’’
Lindholm, who is serving a minimum 30-year prison sentence and will not be eligible for parole until aged 71, has been a person of interest in the 1995 disappearance of 27-year-old Shari Davison.
Victoria Police are offering a $1 million reward for information in the cold case.
