Andrew Bolt: Self-centred Harry and Meghan can’t be trusted to tell the truth

Harry and Meghan claim to be “compassion in action”, but have proved again they are untrustworthy backstabbers.

British people ‘don’t appreciate’ Harry and Meghan’s ‘badmouthing’

Harry and Meghan claim to be “compassion in action”, but have proved again they are untrustworthy backstabbers. How dare they now leak news of Harry’s private phone calls with his father and brother?

Last week these runaway royals abused Prince Harry’s family in front of 26 million viewers in Britain and the US alone, in their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan accused Kate, wife of Harry’s brother William, of making her cry.

Harry claimed he felt “really let down” by his father, who’d allegedly cut off the allowance he’d paid his 36-year-old multi-millionaire son after Harry skipped his royal duties.

And both accused someone in the family — Charles? William? — of racism.

Now TV host Gayle King, a close friend of Oprah, has announced she’s heard from the two victim-posing royals that “Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father, too, and the word I was given was that those conversations were not productive.”

Prince Harry’s relationship with brother Prince William remains fractured.
Prince Harry’s relationship with brother Prince William remains fractured.

Pardon? Prince Charles can’t talk to his son — reaching out despite being publicly trashed — without Harry and Meghan turning it into another headline? William can’t talk to his brother without them using it as another stick to beat him?

Who can make peace with people so malicious and self-centred?

But King wasn’t finished. She claimed: “It’s frustrating for them to see that it’s a racial conversation about the royal family when all they wanted all along was for the royals to intervene and tell the press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate, false stories that definitely have a racial slant.”

What a sick joke. How can they be frustrated by a “racial conversation about the royal family” which they themselves started after Oprah asked Meghan why son Archie wasn’t a prince?

The true answer is simple: because he’s only a great-grandson of the monarch. He’ll be a prince when the Queen dies.

But Meghan Markle, whose mother is black, is a race hustler, so blamed racism instead: “In those months when I was pregnant … we have in tandem the conversation of ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

How can the royals ever trust Harry and Meghan Markle again? If that’s their “compassion”, what do they call cruel?
