Andrew Bolt: Save the planet, starve the people

The Albanese government this week warned that farmers — and our food — will be sacrificed to the global warming gods as the anti-human agenda continues.

Energy crisis caused largely by 'global warming policies'

First the global warming terrorists came for your gas and electricity.

Next: they’ll take the food from your mouth.

That’s literally true. To save the planet, we must starve the humans.

The Albanese government this week warned that farmers are the next to be sacrificed to the global warming gods.

That is, after it bans many cheap petrol cars.

Federal Agriculture Minister Murray Watt softened up our farmers this week by warning they must help cut Australia’s global warming emissions or risk being locked out of trade with warming-obsessed Europe. But – oh, dear – we have a problem.

With all this great rain, our farmers are quickly rebuilding the herds of cattle and sheep they lost during the drought.

You’d be thinking, what? That’s a problem?

More meat has to be good, right?

In New Zealand, the Labour Government plans to tax the country’s six million cows and 26 million sheep to cut its global warming emissions.

Wrong. More burping and farting livestock means more emissions of methane, which we’re told is even worse than carbon dioxide in heating the planet.

If you think I’m exaggerating – that of course terror-mongering global warmists wouldn’t demand less food for a world where 30 million children still suffer malnutrition – then hear it from the Sydney Morning Herald, a global warming bible.

The SMH happily fleshed out Watts’ warning and its message was clear: grow less food. Raise fewer animals.

Or as the SMH put it: farmers will have to “find more land to take out of production” to grow trees instead of food, to sell the credits for the carbon dioxide trees take out of the atmosphere.

They can also sell more of these carbon offsets by “reducing herd sizes to cut livestock emissions”.

Like I said, save the planet, starve the people.

This anti-human agenda isn’t running amok just in Australia.

In the Netherlands, the Dutch government plans to buy out up to 3000 farms and businesses as it cuts the Netherlands’ 118 million farmed animals by 30 per cent by 2030.

In New Zealand, the Labour government plans to tax the country’s six million cows and 26 million sheep to cut its global warming emissions. Or cut their numbers.

We are often told the cost of fighting global warming would be less than the damage global warming would do.

That’s clearly a lie already, as the price of your electricity and gas soars, thanks to governments destroying coal-fired power plants and restricting gas and coal projects.

And now taking away your food? Why do these planet savers hate humans?
