A 72-year-old man has been charged with seven alleged child exploitation offences, including two counts of sexual intercourse with a child under 16 years.
The man was arrested on Friday by Sex Crimes Detectives for alleged historic offences in Berry Springs between 2010 and 2015, an NT Police spokesperson said.
Police allege the man and alleged victim were known to each other.
NT Police charged the man with four counts of committing an act of gross indecency against a child under 16 years, two counts of sexual intercourse with a child under 16 years, and one count of gross indecency against a child under 10 years.
The man was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Tuesday.
