Four children have been left without a mother, after the “wonderful” woman was tragically taken in a horrific motorcycle accident on the NSW far south coast earlier this month.

Brianna Myers was just 34-years-old when her motorcycle crashed into a car at the intersection of Cherry Lane and the Princes Highway at Wolumla, around 17kms south of Bega.

Emergency services were called to the scene, where Ms Myers shortly after died.

Ms Myers’ six-year-old son, Charlie, was also involved in the crash and flown to the Sydney Children's Hospital suffering injuries.

The Sydney Children's Hospital confirmed on Thursday that Charlie has not been discharged, however, they said he was in a better condition.

The 28-year-old female driver of the car was treated for shock before being transported to South East Regional Hospital in Bega for mandatory testing.

The Princes Highway was closed in both directions for several hours after the fatal crash to allow police to establish a crime scene and investigate the circumstances around the crash.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Cherry Lane and the Princes Highway at Wolumla.

Tributes are now flowing for the 34-year-old mother, who leaves behind her four children and her husband, Chris.

Ms Myers, a trained chef, was the cook at Bega’s ‘Bub’s Early Learning Centre’.

The centre’s owner and family friend, Bianca Ritchie said she missed Ms Myers “deeply”.

“We are all in shock,” she told this publication.

“We just couldn’t believe it; we still don’t believe it.”

Ms Ritchie said her friend started at someone whose children were enrolled at the centre, before she became their head cook.

“She had a heart of gold,” Ms Ritchie said.

“You could tell she loved her children and all the children here so deeply.”

Co-worker Jenny agreed, labelling Ms Myers a “friend to all”.

“She went above and beyond for everyone who knew her,” she said. “It’s all just terribly sad.”

Family friend Brooke Hume created a GoFundMe to raise money for Ms Myers’ family, with the funds being raised to make their lives easier during the tragic time.

Ms Hume said she wanted to raise at least $10,000, with more than $3000 currently raised.

“As a community, I hope we can achieve this target and potentially more,” she said.

“One hundred per cent of donations will go to the family, her husband and four children.”

Ms Ritchie said the Bega mother was known among the community.

“Everyone knew and loved her smile,” she said.

“I feel for her family, she lived for them.

“She will be deeply, deeply missed.”
