New warning from The Commission coke cartel

A Mafia-style standover cartel calling itself “The Commission” has warned Sydney drug dealers - if you drop the price of cocaine “we will go after your families”.

The extraordinary text message obtained by The Daily Telegraph has landed in an already-simmering underworld. A smattering of public place shootings and kidnappings in recent weeks has left jumpy gangsters and police fearing more violence.

The message - poorly worded but clear - took aim at cocaine dealers who appeared willing to lower their asking price once they had imported the drugs.

“To everyone works in NSW. We have wrote a text in the past due to prices droping (sic),” it read.

“The Commission will go after families, drivers, stroages (sic), tt (transfers), legit business.

“Play ball and keep prices high and don’t make mistakes and ruin lifes. Thank You.”

The Commission is believed to have been set up by senior members of the Comanchero bikie club.

The Telegraph revealed early last year The Commission had been established by high-ranking members of the Comanchero bikie club to mandate a tax-for-protection agreement for anyone who wanted to import cocaine and sell it in NSW and also promised to control prices.

“To ALL Main Players in Aus and Abroad all who land work in Sydney/NSW. As of 2021, there will be a Sydney commission,” the initial message said.

“Every time a (shipment) lands in Sydney, you reach out to the commission and tell them what (shipment) it is, pay a small fee to the commission.

“Make sure your drivers never get napped by street thugs and if they do we back you all the way.

“As you seen in 2020 the price of Fry (street talk for ice) reached 250 and in a matter of 1 month it dropped to 80k. This is because there is NO STRUCTURE, no rules, no reasoning and to be honest there’s NO SENSE.

“There will be resistance, like anything new, and players can completely avoid the new system and not play ball with the commission and that’s fine but just don’t land your work in Sydney. Problem Solved”.

Those behind The Commission are also believed to be deeply involved in cocaine trafficking, making lower prices a risk to their own profits.

There have been a number of kidnappings in Sydney in recent months, some believed to be related to The Commission.

Some in the underworld see the new text as the Comanchero letting the rest of the underworld know they are still a major force despite the recent arrests of some of their leaders.

President Mark Buddle was sensationally arrested in Turkey and deported to Australia, stand-in national president Mick Murray was charged with murder in Victoria and sergeant-at-arms Tarek Zahed was also charged with the murder of a man in 2014.

“There is a lot of tension on the streets and it will blow up,” one underworld source told The Telegraph.
