A self-proclaimed bikie has pleaded guilty to stomping on a man’s head, rendering him unconscious, during a nightclub brawl while he was awaiting sentence for an unrelated carjacking, a court has heard.

Jess Kamper, 24, of Terrigal, faced Gosford Local Court last week where he pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.

He also pleaded not guilty to unrelated charges of stalking or intimidating an ex-girlfriend and using a carriage service to menace or harass her in July.

The court heard Kamper was due to be sentenced in September after pleading guilty to carjacking a pregnant woman and her male passenger while armed with a replica pistol on July 6 last year at Terrigal.

However, while that matter was progressing through the courts, he was charged in July this year with intimidation and using a carriage service to menace when he allegedly refused to accept when an old flame blocked him on social media.

Police will allege in that matter Kamper started bombarding the young woman with emails and changed his phone number and created multiple Instagram accounts so he could circumvent her attempts to block him.

Kamper was on bail at the time having pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with intent to take a vehicle while armed with a weapon.

An agreed set of facts states Kamper threatened a pregnant woman and her male passenger with a replica firearm before driving off in her Kia Carnival, which was found ransacked and abandoned a short time later.

Kamper was subject to a curfew restriction as part of his bail conditions when he was captured on CCTV at the Pocket Bar in Terrigal about 11.30pm on September 6 carrying a satchel bag and wearing a Louis Vuitton scarf around his neck.

An agreed set of facts in that matter states Kamper and another male were seen talking near the dance floor for about 40 seconds before they began to wrestle and Kamper pushed the victim to the floor.

“As the accused lets go of the victim and he hits the floor, the accused regains his footing before raising his right foot then intentionally and forcibly stomping on the victim’s face,” the facts state.

“The contact has rendered the victim unconscious while the accused flees momentarily to the rear of the venue.

“Shortly after the accused can be seen attempting to cover his face with his Luis Vuitton scarf before exiting the Pocket Bar.”

Police arrested Kamper the following day while he was having lunch with his family at nearby Coral restaurant.

The facts state Kamper was a “self-proclaimed Comanchero member” and police were considering upgrading the charges assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, rather than actual harm, because the victim’s injuries were so severed.

He was refused bail and will reappear at court on November 26.
