Termeil: Two injured following Princes Hwy crash

Two people have been injured after a car left a major south coast highway and rolled before coming to rest on its roof in a paddock.

Two people have been seriously injured following a crash on the NSW south coast on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to the Princes Hwy, near Meroo Lake Rd, Termeil, about 18lm south of Ulladulla, about 4.30am following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and found a blue Holden Commodore towing a trailer had left the roadway before rolling and landing in an adjacent paddock on its roof.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 25-year-old male driver for back injuries before he was flown to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

The 24-year-old female passenger was treated for head injuries and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital in a stable condition.

The Princes Hwy was closed in both directions for some time following the crash, but has since been reopened.

A crime scene was established as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
