Mid-North Coast floods: 50,000 isolated, SES issues evacuation warnings with more rain to come

A man has died and three more people are missing as tens of thousands of residents remain isolated as a flood crisis grips the Mid-North Coast. Now residents are bracing for another downpour.

NSW is facing one of its most severe flood emergencies in decades, with nearly 50,000 people isolated across the Mid North Coast, Hunter and North Coast regions.

Torrential rain, swollen rivers and flash flooding continue to wreak havoc, as emergency crews warn the worst may be yet to come.
