AUSSIE pop princess Peach PRC has revealed how she won over her new girlfriend with the blessing of Y2K icon Paris Hilton.
Soft launching her relationship on TikTok (where she has 2 million followers), the 25-year-old said on a first date with her crush, they had a picnic under the stars in a park and were listening to Hilton’s noughties hit Stars Are Blind with shared headphones.
“But in true lesbian fashion, my friend also liked her,” Peach said.
Peach came out as gay in January 2022, and in a sign of her rising career, is billed as a headline act at the upcoming WorldPride in Sydney alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue and G Flip.
Determined to get the girl, Peach wrote the soon-to-be released song Perfect For You based on that night.
“I convinced the girl I like to sing a part of a Paris Hilton song, and then I put it in a song about her,” she shared on TikTok, teasing the lyrics: ‘I’m in your sweater. Don’t want to upset her. But I can do what she can do so much better.’
Paris Hilton’s team spotted the video and sent it to the American socialite, who surprised Peach by duetting her video and singing along.
Replying to a fan’s comment, Hilton also confirmed she’d be up for working with Peach on music in the future.
Peach is over the moon about the recognition from her pop idol turned friend: “The reaction from fans at the festival performances and online has been incredible,” she told Confidential.
“The fact that Paris has endorsed the song by dueting with it on TikTok is so special to me.”
“So did it work?”; “What did the girl say, did she love it?” Peach’s fans asked.
“Yes,”; and “She does”, Peach replied.
Hilton also jumped into the comments: “I’m going to cry, love you so much,” she wrote.
Also commenting “Love you fam, keep #Sliving sis” (Sliving is Hilton’s motto – a blend of slaying and living), and fire and heart emojis on subsequent videos.
She better marry me because I will literally never top this move,” Peach joked on social media.
Confidential spotted the loved-up couple at multiple events together in the run-up to Christmas, with Peach gushing about her new love online: “I’m so deeply obsessed with her to the point it’s actually sickening … I’m so in love with her.”
