Four men allegedly involved in back-to-back assaults on Sydney train charged by police
Four men have been charged following an alleged violent assault on board a Sydney train, after a verbal dispute escalated into two separate attacks at Central Station.

Four men have been charged following a brawl and assault on-board a train at Sydney’s Central Station.
Police say the incident occurred around 11.45pm on July 11, when a group of four men began a verbal altercation with three other passengers and then proceeded to assault them on the citybound train from Newtown.
According to police, the four men left the train at Central Station, but then re-boarded, assaulting the same three men a second time.
Following a police investigation, a series of arrests were made on July 23.
About 7.30am, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Underwood Circuit in Harrington Park, arresting two men aged 21 and 44.
They were taken to Narellan police station.
An hour later, about 8.35am, a 24-year-old man was arrested at a home on Bungonia Rd, Leumeah, and taken to Campbelltown police station.
Later that afternoon, a 25-year-old man presented himself to Bankstown police station, where he was also arrested.
All four men were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others, stalk intimidate with intent to cause fear of physical harm.
The 21 and 44-year-old men were granted conditional bail and are due to appear in Picton Local Court on July 31.
The 24-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on August 14, while the 25-year-old is set to appear at Bankstown Local Court on August 7.
