NAIDOC week was sent off in style as thousands crowded into the Convention Centre for the annual Gala Ball and Awards Ceremony.
The sold out event hosted by Larrakia Nation was a show of culture with live music from Coloured Stone and an Indigenous fashion parade.
It capped off a huge NAIDOC week in the Top End, which was officially opned on Monday with the official flag raising ceremony.
Thousands then took to the streets on Friday for the NAIDOC march through the CBD in a show of strength and unity.
There was also the Deadly Cup rugby league carnival on Sunday that brought the community together through a sporting spectacle.
