Welcome back to our rolling coverage of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, which has entered its second sitting week.

The CLP government passed three pieces of legislation last week – Declan’s Law (comprising amendments to two separate acts) and an amendment to the Criminal Code creating two new offences and lowering the age of criminal responsibility.

It still has two more law and order bills in its in-tray, and will also introduce a bill to formalise its HomeGrown Territory grant scheme.

Don’t stray far, as it’s set to be a consequential week for the Territory.
