It will be their second match in four days after a clash with Western Jets on Thursday, which will be their first of the competition.
But judging by their form in the AFL curtainraiser against Cairns prior to the Gold Coast Suns demolition of North Melbourne at TIO Stadium on May 11, they should be strong.
Carlton and Perry, both from the Palmerston Magpies, are just some of the talent this NT side will have in their arsenal.
Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn and Cate Twaddle were other standouts from the 18.5 (113) to 2.3 (15) win against Cairns.
Amber Wunungmurra is another exciting talent in the NT setup and finished the 2023-24 NTFL season with 13 goals from 10 games.
Cazalys NT Academy Talent Manager Shannon Millar said the side heading south were expected be competitive, with many in their ranks holding previous national experience.
“We have a lot of players who have played previously in the Coates Talent League or at the National Development Championships,” Miller said.
“So we are excited to have the majority of the team with that experience this year.
“The players know the level they are expected to play at and are keen to take on this challenge having trained at the high intensity levels for the past few months.”
The Bushrangers women will be hoping to catch the NT out and claim their first win of the season. They lost by just 10 points in their last outing against the Calder Cannons.
