A woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries yesterday afternoon after a serious motor vehicle accident north of Hobart.

A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries yesterday afternoon after a serious motor vehicle accident north of Hobart.
Police and emergency services attended the crash on Tea Tree Rd, Brighton where a blue Hyundai Getz and an Isuzu truck collided head-on.
The sole occupant of the blue Hyundai Getz sustained life-threatening injuries and was air lifted by the Westpac Helicopter to the Royal Hobart Hospital where she is currently in critical condition.
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.
Crash Investigation Services are investigating the cause of the accident. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors.
