WELL, here it is.

We’re down to our Top 30 and, boy oh boy, has the list got people talking.

Yesterday’s numbers 40 to 31 featured some big names, including Chief Justice Michael Grant at No.40 and Northern Land Council CEO Marion Scrymgour at No.36.

Today, we list some more big names including NT Major Events chief executive Tim Watsford coming in at No.29.

“Watsford, aka the ‘man in the black hat’, had plenty of influential people in his ear to stay in Darwin, which speaks wonders for his character and performance,” the panel says.

Another true legend to make the list — again — is our resident cartoonist Colin Wicking who comes in at No.30.

The panel, in part, says: “Wicking is a legend of Territory media and every year we’re more than happy to break our rule that no one in the media industry should be on a list chosen by the media.”
“The resident cartoonist at the NT News for more than 32 years continues to draw some hilariously funny and sometimes brutal cartoons, delighting our readers,” they said.
