THE Gold Coast clearly has some very talented hairdressers – and loyal customers who swear by them.
The Bulletin put out a call to find the city’s best hairdressers and was inundated with responses.
More than 3000 people nominated their favourite salons and hairstylers, with many travelling far and wide to make sure their hair is dealt with by trusted hands.

I travel from Brisbane to have my hair done by Kathy. She is absolutely incredible and is the most amazing colourist. She is a master of her craft, friendly and has gorgeous little salon at Mermaid Beach. I feel so looked after every time I visit. I would not trust anyone else with my hair.

Elise is a GENIUS, just started her own small business less than a year ago and is absolutely killing it! She is a magician with blonde (no purple shampoo necessary) she’s fast, reasonably priced oh and the studio and secret rainbow path to get there is divine. She’s also one of the nicest, friendliest and funniest women you’ll ever have the pleasure of being around. 10/10 would recommend.
