A man was taken to hospital following a car crash in Armstrong Creek on Tuesday night.

Emergency services were called to the collision on Horseshoe Bend Road near Warralilly Boulevard just after 10pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics treated two people at the scene.

A man in his 40s was taken to Geelong University Hospital for observation.

A girl in her late teens was assessed at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment.
