TWO more repatriated Australians have tested positive to COVID-19 at Howard Springs, bringing the total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory to 67.

A 32-year-old man and a63-year old woman, who returned positive recordings within the past 24 hours, arrived on the repatriation flight from Frankfurt, Germany, on December 13.

They remain under the care of the AUSMAT team at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

Thirty-three of the Northern Territory’s 67 cases have been recorded since repatriation flights to the Territory began on October 23.

A total of 1478 international arrivals have undertaken supervised quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience since international repatriation services begun.

All cases recorded in the Northern Territory have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.
