A woman accused of being involved in a shooting that left two men injured has had her bail bid struck down.

Taylor Coy-Smith, aged 25, fronted Geelong Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with intentionally causing injury, engaging in reckless conduct and making a false statement to police.

Police allege two men were shot at on a residential Geelong street in the early hours of September 17.

According to court documents, CCTV footage from the front of a home showed Ms Coy-Smith.

It’s alleged the same footage later showed Ms Coy-Smith using a ladder to access the roof shortly before a CCTV hard drive was disconnected just minutes before the alleged shooting.

Documents state that days before the incident Ms Coy-Smith told her partner one of the victims had allegedly taken her car.

The alleged victims arrived at the address shortly after 1.30am, the court heard.

Police claim one of the victims told investigators Ms Coy-Smith told him to come by to collect a motorcycle.

According to court documents, the first bullet hit the passenger side mirror before hitting one victim in the wrist, through his arm and continuing into the other victim’s chest before coming lodged in the driver’s seat.

The pair managed to get away and drove to Geelong University Hospital for treatment.

Prosecutor Erin Rutherford opposed bail on the grounds the accused exhibited a “clear, unacceptable” risk of reoffending while on bail.

Defence lawyer Nigel Leslie argued Ms Coy-Smith had a suitable home to be bailed to, good family support and the prospect of summer employment.

Magistrate Franz Hozler contended while there were “compelling” reasons for bail, there would still be a “significant risk of committing offences on bail”.

The matter will come back before the courts in February.
