A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in relation to six unlawful entries of Darwin region businesses in a two-week time frame.

NT Police Strike Force Trident detectives arrested the man who allegedly stole a safe from a veterinary clinic in Palmerston which contained a large quantity of dangerous drugs.

The man has been charged with six counts of unlawful entry into a building, six counts of damage to property and six counts of stealing over the incidents from January 26 to February 11 this year.

The dangerous drugs have since been removed.

The man has been remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court on 25 February, 2021.
