Actor Jason Momoa has been snapped decked out in Queensland colours in a private suite at Suncorp Stadium for the State of Origin decider Wednesday night.
His trainer, former wrestler Mada Abdelhamid, posted a photo with Momoa to Instagram after writing “it’s about to go down”.
Momoa was clearly not just there for show.
He later posted to Instagram a photo with his two children, Lola and Wolf, who were also at the stadium.
“Raise them right. DA MOMOAZ bleed. Qld. All Black. And Port Power. I love australia and New Zealand. Best sports ever. Except they need hockey. Go maroons,” he wrote.
It’s a good thing he backed the mighty Maroons - Queensland took down NSW 22-6 to clinch the series.
Momoa is currently filming Aquaman on the Gold Coast.
Co-star Amber Heard was also on hand, but seemed slightly less impressed by her first State Of Origin experience.
The cast have become regulars at local sporting events, with Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard and Ludi Lin travelling to Brisbane to watch Jeff Horn vs Manny Pacquiao.
