‘Spoiled brat’ activists ‘lost the argument today’ with CBD protest

Climate change activists lost the argument today when they fulfilled their pledge to cripple Brisbane. Shame on the State Government. Shame on police for letting it happen.

CLIMATE change activists shot themselves in the foot today when their dangerous protest strangled Brisbane traffic.

When the two young climate change protesters glued themselves to a zebra crossing outside the GPO they did more than prevent other citizens going about their lawful business — they lost their argument.

A DUMMIES GUIDE TO QUEENSLAND’S ADANI DEBATE

They were like spoiled brats who stamp their feet when they can’t get their own way.

Any sympathy Queenslanders had for their cause evaporated in the morning heat.

Shame on them. Shame on the Palaszczuk government whose anti-Adani rhetoric encourages this sort of disruption.

Shame on the police who allowed a pair of unarmed youth to cripple the city.

Police can’t pretend they didn’t know it was coming.

The climate zealots said they would stop the city and they did. It’s a colossal law-and-order failure.

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: ENOCH ‘DEVASTATED’ BY ADANI APPROVAL

It was another nail in the coffin of the Palaszczuk-Trad government that failed to condemn the protest.

The police commissioners, too, must be red faced at how easy the loony Left was able to accomplish its task.

But the protest has achieved nothing.

Like Bob Brown’s ridiculous anti-Adani convoy, the demonstration will backfire.

It’s now the turn of ordinary Queenslanders to rise up and protest.

I hope the moral condemnation is loud and swift.

Think of the millions in lost production and the waste in valuable police time.

Who pays for that? Law-abiding taxpayers, that’s who.

I didn’t think I would say this, but I’m sorry a strongman like Joh Bjelke-Petersen isn’t running the state. It’s time for a new leader to emerge who is willing to stamp his or her authority and clear the streets.
