RUBY Rose has revealed which Hollywood star acted as an early role model and crush for the out Aussie actress.

NOW that she is playing DC Comics’ first openly gay character, Ruby Rose has opened up about the importance of creating more LGBTQ role models.

The Aussie actor, to play Batwoman in a TV series, has revealed that, growing up, she experienced a dearth of out influences.

But one she could look up to was Angelina Jolie.

“She had won, I think, Most Beautiful Human Being on the Planet … When she was asked, ‘What do you think about the fact that a lot of women voted for you?’ she laughed and said, ‘Well, I’m most likely to sleep with my female fans’, which was totally an in for me.”

Despite being about 12 when Jolie came out as bisexual, Rose was smitten.

“I am both a fan and a female, so clearly Angelina will be my wife,” says Rose in a video on Instagram.
