Primary school student approached by man, followed in Lenah Valley

Police are investigating a report that a child was approached and followed by a man dressed all in black in a suburb north of Hobart.

POLICE are investigating a report that a child was approached and followed by a man in Lenah Valley yesterday afternoon.

The primary school student reported that a man they didn’t know approached and then followed them for a few minutes as they were walking home after school.

The incident occurred about 3pm, on Lenah Valley Rd, near the milk factory.

The man is described as being about 30 or 40 years old, about 170-175cm tall with grey/white hair and a medium build.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes and reflective glasses.
