The Morrison government has reportedly rejected the visa application of controversial far-right speaker Milo Yiannopoulos on character grounds.

Controversial right-wing activist Milo Yiannopoulos has been banned from entering Australia.
The British speaker has been told his visa application has been rejected by the Morrison government, Nine Newspapers reports.
The move will no doubt infuriate supporters of Yiannopoulos who has been accused of anti-Semitism.
The right-wing commentator has made a career out of attacking feminism, political correctness and Islam.

Last November, the provocateur’s Australian tour was cancelled at the last miniute, leaving fans of his outrageous style outraged and out of pocket.
Yiannopoulos had been set to carry out a speaking tour with the “queen of right-wing media” Ann Coulter but the gigs were cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Yiannopoulos has declared Australia as the last remaining bastion of free speech.
In December 2017, a rally in Melbourne turned violent when opposing protesters clashed outside the venue where Yiannopoulos was speaking.
Heavily armed police used capsicum spray and at least two people were arrested.
A police officer was also struck by rocks and suffered minor injuries.
