A LOG truck in the centre lane of Bathurst St, Launceston has crashed into a smaller Mazda causing it to spin around and collide with a Toyota Prado four-wheel drive.
Police, fire and ambulance units responded to the scene just before 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Paramedics assessed the occupants of the vehicles at the scene, but no injuries were reported by police.
A police officer at the scene said the log truck driver failed to see the Mazda hatchback in its blind spot before attempting to merge into the left hand lane.
The log truck was removed from the scene by 2.30pm, but the hatchback, which sustained significant damage to its left side, and the four-wheel drive remained on the road.
Motorists have been advised of potential traffic delays while the scene is cleared.
