ACCUSED fraudster Harry Omeros was all smiles today after facing court for allegedly swindling victims out of more than $700,000.

The 31-year-old made a brief appearance in the Southport Magistrates Court in relation to two charges of dishonestly obtaining a sum of money.

The first charge relates to $739,233, which was alleged to have been dishonestly obtained between May 2008 and February 2013.

The second charge of dishonestly obtaining money relates to January 2016.

Omeros was represented by Lucy Ferguson, of Dib and Associates Lawyers who acted as an agent for Fisher Dore Lawyers.

She asked for the matter to be adjourned for a committal mention.

Magistrate Maryanne May adjourned the matter to August 7.

Omeros said nothing and smiled at media as he walked from the courthouse.
