Gold Coast Police locate man seen walking fully clothed into water at Surfers Paradise beach

Update: Police find man, who was seen walking fully clothed into a Gold Coast beach on Thursday.

POLICE have located man safe and well after he mysteriously went missing at Surfers Paradise Beach.

Authorities feared for the man’s safety after witnesses saw him walk into the water fully clothed around 9pm on Thursday.

Police appealed for public assistance and Polair and Water Police were actioned, but could not locate him.

In a statement, Queensland Police said “he had a great swim in the ocean and returned home safe”.
