Aussies staying up to watch the Olympics have noticed a lack of options when it comes to fulfilling late-night takeaway cravings, but now there is pizza on the menu. See where.

Aussies around the country have been tuning in at some ungodly hours to cheer on our athletes in the green and gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Whilst there might be some puffy eyes the next morning, it’s certainly worth it to watch our sporting heroes represent our country, and even more remarkable to witness a gold-medal winning moment.

But win or lose, the experience of huddling around the television with family and friends, late at night and in the depths of winter, is a cosy feeling, and one that feels extra complete with a midnight munchy.

But finding that late-night snack has been hard to come by with many Aussies complaining about early closing times leaving barely any takeaway options for those staying up to watch the Games.

Domino’s Pizza announced it would be opening stores late across Australia as a result, with shops open until as late as 3am.

It comes just as the takeaway giant launches its new burger range, so Aussies will have even more to choose from when the midnight munchies kick in and the need for a late-night snack intensifies.

The new range features a cheeseburger pizza made with perfectly seasoned 100% Aussie beef burger pieces, melty American cheese, tangy burger sauce, butter pickles, and gooey mozzarella cheese.

They come with popular side including onion Rings, cheeseburger meltzz and fried chicken tenders.

Uber Eats also recently extended its hours so restaurants across Australia can deliver 24 hours seven days a week.
