“It’s really nice recognition for our kitchen crew and staff. We’re quite stoked. We’ve noticed a lot more locals coming in recently which has been great.”
TOP FIVE BRUNCH SPOTS:
- Whisk & Co, Lenah Valley
- Spencer’s, Lindisfarne
- Sisterhood, Sandy Bay
- Bear With Me, South Hobart
- Machine Laundry Cafe, Hobart
Born In Brunswick received 15.5 per cent of the votes from Mercury readers in the poll.
Mr Vailas said the Elizabeth St restaurant, which opened in 2016, had some “exciting” plans in the pipeline.
“We’ll see a bit of a menu change in the coming weeks and we have also been looking at doing something over summer that will be a bit more events-driven with a focus on supporting locals,” he said.
