Pollies taking to social media to win young voters

Clive Palmer has promised a Royal Commission into Covid lockdowns and criticised both major parties as he launched his party’s campaign with an unashamedly Trump flavour.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed Australia has had a win on “Vegemite-gate”, saying discussions with Canada has meant the product can stay on a cafe owner’s shelf.

Senior Labor minister Jason Clare has also taken aim at the Coalition doubling down on their work from home policy, saying: “This is Dutton dressed up as lamb. He’s pretending that he doesn’t want to stop people from working from home.”
