Emergency services were called to a dramatic motorbike blaze on the edge of Geelong’s CBD on Wednesday.
Both CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters were called to the southern end of the Latrobe Terrace bridge at 12.30pm on Wednesday, following reports of a motorbike fire.
Bystanders caught footage of the dramatic blaze, which appeared to destroy the motorbike.
“FRV responded to a motorbike fire in Geelong West on Latrobe Terrace and Keera Street at 12:30pm this afternoon,” a FRV spokesperson said.
“Arriving within five minutes, one pumper from Geelong City Fire Station managed to bring the scene under control within two minutes.
“Thankfully no injuries were reported.
“Victoria Police assisted with traffic control.”
