Deborra-Lee Furness has spoken of the “profound wound” of infidelity, after Hugh Jackman moved his new girlfriend into their former marital home.

Deborra-Lee Furness has taken a swipe at her estranged husband Hugh Jackman, making a shock statement about “betrayal”, after filing for divorce.
It comes amid reports that Jackman’s new girlfriend, Broadway star Sutton Foster, has been slowly moving her belongings into the New York penthouse shared by the Aussie star and Furness during their 27-year marriage.
Following her move to file for divorce after two years of separation, Furness spoke of her heartbreak and “profound wound” in a devastating statement to the Mail Online.
“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she said.
“It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.’
She continued: “This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience.
“Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose.
“It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.”
Furness said she remained ”grateful” despite her heartache.

Furness’ lawyer Elena Karabatos submitted the divorce paperwork to the court on Friday – the day before Americans embarked on a three-day holiday weekend for Memorial Day.
The Mail Online reported Furness, 69, will be well looked after by the Wolverine star, 56.
“A settlement was reached that Deborra is pleased with which includes a handsome spousal support payment,” a source close to the matter told the publication.
“There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement but, in the end, she got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure.
“There is not going to be any drama with this gives closure that she needed.”
The submission from Furness’ lawyer includes paperwork concerning health care coverage for both Furness and Jackman and their adopted children Oscar, 25, and Ava. 19.
Ms Karabatos also filed the settlement, a proposed judgment of divorce, and certificate of dissolution.
A judge is yet to sign off on the divorce but given it is non-contested, the formality is expected to completed soon.
The couple announced their split in September 2023 in a shocking joint statement.
Soon after, it emerged that Jackman was dating his former Broadway co-star Sutton Foster, 50.
The pair starred together as on-screen love interests in the 2022 production The Music Man.
Foster also split from her husband Ted Griffin around the same time and their divorce is also in process.
Neither Jackman nor Furness have publicly commented on the court filing.
