Included in the project is a toilet block and shade structure to be installed at the Chrisp St basketball courts, costing $300,000 alone.

“The design at Chrisp St is done, the work will start as soon as possible when the rain goes away,” he said.

“My priority is not one area, it’s the whole of Darwin. Suburbs and CBD will receive equal attention, the same amount of money and the people decide what the priorities are.”

Also included in the list is upgrades to the Buffalo Creek boat ramp, Parap shopping village beautification and Nightcliff foreshore planting to assist with erosion mitigation.
