The Bureau of Meteorology released its hotly-anticipated forecast for Christmas and the fix is in for a dry and sunny day across Australia’s capital cities.
While there’s a possibility of a morning shower – or two – across the east coast of New South Wales and the west and south coast of Tasmania, the general forecast is for dry weather to reign across the southeast of Australia.
The Bureau of Meteorology says to expect mild to baking conditions across most of the country, with isolated or developing showers late in the day in some parts of the country.
Among the capital cities, however, expect mostly clear skies to enjoy your Christmas meat pies. Darwin is at most risk for a little rain, followed by slight possibilities in Perth then maybe Hobart and Brisbane. But Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide are in the clear for summer cheer.
