Lego, Star Wars and Kindi Kids will dominate Big W’s annual Toy Mania sale — but buyers are being warned to get in early or miss out.
BIG W’s Chief Toy Buyer Christine Faulkner said the cheapest toys start from $4.50 and the toys that are expected to sell out fast include:
*Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage
*LEGO Vidiyo Boombox
*Hungry Hippos Launcher
*Star Wars The Child
*Kindi Kids dolls
With more than 1000 toys on offer, Ms Faulkner said Bluey, Cocomelon and Little Tikes are the three big brands dominating BIG W’s annual Toy Mania sale this year.
She said LEGO, Barbie and Hot Wheels also remain firm favourites.
BIG W are launching Toy Mania exclusively online for two days from Tuesday June 15, before it starts at stores nationally from Thursday June 17.
Ms Faulkner said it was probably the best way to avoid disappointment and make use of the store’s lay-by service before Christmas.
“It’s also a great way to manage the cost of the holiday season with easy fortnightly payments,” Ms Faulkner said.
For those looking for a bargain, the sale will have up to 50 per cent off big brands including LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels and L. O. L Surprise!
“You can be confident you’re getting great deals. Barbie Fashionista, half price, $6.50, save $6.50,” she said.
“If you’re looking for bigger ticket items, we have a huge range of outdoor play sets, cubby houses, scooters and bikes, as well as gaming and with a red hot offer at $379 on the Nintendo Switch.”
BIG W also has a dedicated ‘Toy Squad’, featuring Australian kids and families who have road-tested the items and have recommended their favourites online.
Some of their other recommended items include the old-fashioned Rubiks Cube, a 5-piece Double-Sided Australian Traffic Signs and a Bluey 4.5ft Trampoline.
The sale comes ahead of the Australian Toy Association’s Mid Year Toy Fair being held in Sydney on June 30 until July 1.
The event will see businesses showcase new products for kids and families.
